This will be the third edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano Shanghai. Dining areas feature generously proportioned tables, like Minotti’s Dan or Gio Ponti’s D.859 Table, now re-edited by Molteni, charmingly solid sculptural pieces ripe for conviviality and interchange, yet deliberately understated. New multifunctional crossover storage systems such as Poor’s System and Lema’s Selecta, suitable for both living and sleeping areas, ensure visual continuity and define the perimeters of the home. Kitchens feature super-technological, super-accessorised worktops that make for swift food preparation while preserving quality, while bathrooms have become private hammams, with Turkish baths, saunas and fitness equipment offering everything one could possibly want in terms of zero-kilometre mind and body care.
Formal research, precious materials, colour effects and the exploration of new functional boundaries are what unite the leading Italian brands in their bid to guarantee maximum product quality for maximum living quality.
